There are over 1,000 pictures of me tagged on Facebook. Those pictures are how my friends and I remember and share the fun we’ve had–not a measure of my self worth! My best friend has over 1,600 tagged pictures, and my little sister has 21–both have high senses of self-worth. Tagged pictures is just a number, not a ruler on which we measure self-worth.
What a load of crap. There are about 200 pictures of me on Facebook, many uploaded by friends. You know, friends, the reason for Facebook in the first place. And except for a handful of pictures from my wedding, most of the pictures are group shots of me having fun with my friends. Plenty of these pictures of me aren’t exactly flattering.
In my home, I take all the pictures. If I want a picture of myself, I have to badger my husband into taking it.
